Intellect only gets you so far, if we don’t feel it through our cells, it makes little difference in how we live. Yoga helps us to experience ourselves as one with life.
Yoga is.. a methodology.
To experience oneness as our living reality, yoga is practised as a method. Through the practice, we move away from the idea of Self, separateness and duality and reconnect to our original state of unity.
Yoga is.. universal.
Yoga is a universal technology for overcoming the root cause of all human suffering. It’s an ancient practice which blossomed out of India over 5000 years ago yet it is owned by no one and available to all. It transcends all cultures, beliefs, race, age and gender.
Movement. Breath. Meditation
Each 1 hour yoga session includes breathing techniques (pranayama) for your physical and mental well-being, posture training (asanas) and deep relaxation (meditation/mind training), resulting in a switch from a sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) to a parasympathetic nervous system (relaxation), restoring balance in your body and a deep sense of calm and inner peace. Movement
Movement through the practice of physical asanas (postures). Our bodies are supreme, sacred and ultimate vessels to enlightenment.
Breath
Breath is life force. Through the breath, we open and connect to Source. Find inner peace and unity through pranayama (breathwork)
